Limassol born fashion designer Calia Monoyiou studied at Marangoni Milano fashion school in Italy. For 18 years now, she has been exclusively engaged in the design of bridal gowns, haute couture evening dresses, and prêt a porter clothes.

Since 1991, she maintains her own haute couture atelier in Limassol, from where she serves the fashion scene.

Calia Monoyiou creates, composes and produces unique pieces.... Each piece is for her a special poem. The combination and the marriage of various material like the french lace, silk, satin silk, precious stones and Swarovski give a mythical art work, always with the signature of the well-known designer.

Her activity was not limited within Cyprus boundaries but expanded to the international fashion arena like U.K., Italy, Dubai and Greece. Her aim is to present what fashion imposes to women where as her objective is promoting social problems and public awareness of illnesses or problems that affect women's population.

Calia Monoyiou remains devoted to the art of fashion and creating for today's woman.
